The main window in Skype 4 for Android is dedicated to contacts, allowing you to display all Skype contacts, favorite contacts and your recent activity. There are icons at the bottom of the screen for calling and chatting, and a context menu for adding people or numbers. Skype's user interface is very clear and straightforward. You can now make group calls, create calendar events so you never forget to make a call, and open Microsoft Office files directly from the app. If you haven't checked in on Skype for Android in a while, it is also worth noting that it has been significantly improved since it released. Contacts can be grouped, which makes things much easier if you have lots of friends.
When getting started, you can choose to sync contacts. Once you've registered or signed in, you'll be given a virtual tour explaining exactly what you can do with the app. Just like the desktop version, Skype for Android is very simple to set up and use.
